You bet we do! In fact, there’s generally no two homes that are the exact same. We build to suit the job-specific location. Items such as wind and snow loads as well as any engineering or architectural constraints are all taken into consideration when designing our homes. Whether it be small changes to our sample plans on our website or if you have a photo with a dream home in mind, let our custom design team help you out!

At Knotty Pine, we offer assembly to lock up in Alberta and some parts of BC. This means that we will assemble your home to the stage when plumbing and electrical would be installed. To visualize lock up: your entire exterior is finished and when you walk into your home or cabin, the walls and loft (if applicable) are framed and the studs are exposed. Once you have your plumbing and electrical finished, there is an option to have our team come back and finish the interior pine and insulation.

Most of our homes are sold as packages where the client will construct themselves or hire a contractor local to their area. Alternatively, if the build is in AB, or certain parts of BC, Knotty Pine can offer installation to the lock up stage.

Occasionally, depending on the scope and location of the project (located in Edmonton or surrounding), Knotty Pine may decide to take on your home as a turn-key project.

Foundation, plumbing, electrical, and general finishing items like kitchens, appliances, and flooring are the responsibility of the client to contract out.
